When the lift stops, everyone calls you.

SWITCH WITH LESS RISK

Try HEC lift maintenance for 30 days. If you are not satisfied, HEC will refund your first month’s maintenance fee and release you from the contract. Terms apply.

“Our previous lift maintenance provider took seven hours to attend after we reported a trapped passenger. Since moving to HEC, most of our breakdown callouts have been attended in under two hours.”

— Building Manager, Large Dublin Apartment Complex

HEC RESPONSE COMMITMENT
Trapped-passenger callouts: within 1 hour
Other breakdowns: within 4 hours

Targets apply subject to safe site access and contract terms.

WHAT CHANGES WHEN HEC TAKES OVER

Changing lift-maintenance provider is not a casual decision. You need a competent takeover, a clear record of inherited defects, a person you can contact and reliable reporting when something goes wrong. HEC’s guarantee gives you 30 days to judge the service for yourself.

• Initial condition inspection and an inherited-defects schedule
• A clear maintenance plan and service-reporting route
• A named HEC contact
• Four planned maintenance visits per year unless your proposal states otherwise
• 24/7 breakdown reporting, with one-hour entrapment and four-hour breakdown attendance targets subject to access and contract terms

HOW IT WORKS

1. Request a free maintenance review and tell HEC what equipment and sites you manage.
2. HEC reviews the current position, surveys the equipment and issues a clear proposal.
3. If the proposal qualifies, the guarantee badge and exact first-month refund amount appear in the agreement.
4. Service begins on the confirmed Service Commencement date. If you are not satisfied by day 30, email HEC and claim.

HEC 30-DAY MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE — FULL TERMS

1. Provider and scope. The guarantee is provided by Honest Elevator Company (HEC) Limited (“HEC”) and applies only to a signed maintenance agreement on which the HEC 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee is marked “Included” (a “Qualifying Agreement”). The controlled launch is for business customers and commercial or managed multi-unit sites in the Republic of Ireland. Consumer contracts and Northern Ireland sites require separately approved written terms.

2. Eligibility. Every unit in a Qualifying Agreement must be newly transferring to HEC and must not have been maintained by HEC immediately before commencement. Existing HEC-maintained units must be placed in a separate agreement. The guarantee is not transferable and may be claimed once for the same customer and site.

3. Service Commencement. The 30-day period begins on the later of the commencement date stated in the agreement and the date HEC receives the safe access, keys, inductions, site information and permissions reasonably required to begin the maintenance service. HEC will confirm the

4. Making a claim. The customer may claim by emailing sales@hecl.ie by 17:00 Irish time on the confirmed day-30 deadline and stating that it is not satisfied and wishes to claim. If the deadline falls on a weekend or Irish public holiday, it moves to 17:00 on the next business day. No reason or proof of service failure is required. HEC will acknowledge receipt within one business day and may request optional feedback.

5. Refund. If paid, HEC will refund the First Month’s Maintenance Fee within 14 calendar days after acknowledging a valid claim; if unpaid, HEC will issue a credit note for that amount. “First Month’s Maintenance Fee” means one twelfth of the net annual maintenance charge stated in the agreement, plus the corresponding VAT actually paid.

6. Release from contract. HEC will waive future minimum-term and cancellation charges. The agreement will end after a five-business-day orderly handover period, or earlier if agreed in writing, with no additional maintenance fee for that handover period. At the same time HEC will credit or refund maintenance fees paid in advance for periods after termination.

7. Charges outside the guarantee. Parts, repairs, statutory or regulatory work, separately chargeable call-outs, misuse or damage work, and other goods or services outside the maintenance fee remain payable only where authorised in writing before the work is carried out. The guarantee does not refund those charges.

8. Takeover condition. Pre-existing or inherited defects are excluded unless HEC expressly accepts them in writing. Their existence does not prevent a guarantee claim. HEC may isolate unsafe equipment and recommend or quote for remedial work.

9. Refund method. Refunds will normally be made by the original payment method or by bank transfer to the customer’s verified business account. HEC may carry out reasonable checks to prevent duplicate or fraudulent payments, but those checks will not be used to judge whether the customer was sufficiently dissatisfied.

10. Other rights. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited. The maintenance agreement otherwise continues to apply until termination.

11. Contract copy controls. Online terms are provided for convenience. The dated terms attached to the signed agreement control, and later online changes do not amend that agreement. For a timely valid claim, these Guarantee Terms prevail over inconsistent minimum-term, renewal, notice, cancellation and early-termination provisions.
